Month of Safar

“SAFAR” is the second month in the Islamic Calender. It is one of “Al-Ashhur-al-hurum” the four sanctified months in which the battle was prohibited in the days of Holy Prophet Muhammad   ( Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). However, no specific mode of worship or other special rules are set by Shari’ah to observe in this month.
Some people believe that this month is an unlucky month, therefore, they avoid to hold marriage ceremonies or any happy gatherings in this month.This beleif is totally baseless and it is part of the superstitions rampant in the ignorants of arabia before the advent of Islam. The Holy Prophet Muhammad ( Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) eradicated all such superstitious beliefs. Specially in the case of the month of safar, He ( Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) expressly said,

لا سفر

(To Hold) the month of safar ( as unlucky) is nothing.

Therefore, Muslims should not give ear to such superstitions. There is no problem in holding Marriages in this month.

I recently had a chance to come to know one of the great writers of Pakistan, Ibne Safi. Ibne Safi He has an ability to engage his reader and take him to places in his mind and than when reader finishes the novel, he has the urge to create exact environment in real. His protagonist obeys, respect the law and makes those around him to do so too. I think about how many minds he revolutionized. How much he changed the society. I am sure he put large amount of effort in salvaging the society and help people to take it to this far. His writings are timeless. They can be used by every individual of any age. He rightly read his times and the way he changed the track of thought of especially young minds is marvellous. His writing proves that he was of the men who don't complaint about circumstances rather stand up and remove the filth silently and efficiently. Something different yet so Beautiful

In today's world, different things can happen and people can ask different things. The result from them might be something enormous and beautiful.  I will write down a small conversation that I read somewhere. A: Don't we see that all natural processes take place on time? Has sun ever said that today I cannot rise because I do not feel like or I am tired of monotony? No, it never has. But, yes once it did not rise on time. Yes, there is one incident in history when sun did not rise on its prescribed timings. Can anybody tell me that? B: The day Hazrat Bilal Habshi Radi Allah u 'Anhu did not give  azaan.  Allah SWT did not make the sun rise until Hazrat Bilal Radi Allhu 'Anhu called for  fajar  prayers.  I was familiar with the incident.
