A Prayer

O, Creator! You are our shelter, from hell fire, we call upon You, Only You.. in sickness and in health, in happiness and when sad. You created us from mere dust, and enabled us to conquer universe, what are we without You.. and everything with You, keep us save from Your anger, we only intend to gain Your approval! accept our plea, Oh, Al-Bari*! -Noor Note *: Al-Bari is one of Allah's ninety nine names, it means; The Evolver, the Maker, the Creator who has the power to turn the entities. Intentions Matter As Much As Deeds Does

"A pious man, someone who had spent his entire life praying, once lived above a dissolute wretch who drank wine and listened to music and indulged in the pleasures of the flesh. One night the upstairs man had the urge to examine the revelries downstairs, while at the same time the downstairs man decided to see what his neighbour was doing. They both died at the stairs. The one on his way down was sent to Hell by Allah. The one going up admitted to Paradise." (A passage taken from The Wasted Vigil by Nadeem Aslam. Although I don't agree with the whole plot but really liked this part as an inspiration)

Hypocrisy In Quran's View

“Aae ayman walo! Tum kiyun kehte ho wo jo tum karte nahin, Allah k nazdeeq bari na-pasandeeda bat ha k tum wo kaho jo tum karte nahin” (Surah-e-saff): Signs of a Hypocrite: 1-Does not stand by his word. 2-breaches trust. 3-Lies when spoken to. Taking one of the above points : Quran is Allah's amanat for Muslims. Allah gave it to us to help us follow the right path. It cleanses us of many spiritual diseases, it is a total blessing, it takes us to Jannat and saves us from Jahannum . This blessing will be taken away from us near the end of time. Let’s see how we commit ‘ amanat mein khyanat’ in it. We have total five duties regarding the Quran. 1- To believe in it. 2- To read it. 3- To understand it. 4- To act upon its orders. 5- To spread its message. Lets start with the first duty: We say that we believe in it but do our actions really show our belief? Does our conducts prove it?? This contradiction then leads to khyanat in other duties as well.
